PEOPLE: CME Advisory Board

Vindico has composed a group of recognized physician experts to review and offer guidance and insight for the company’s educational activities. The board actively contributes to the development of Vindico’s educational programs, bringing peer-review into the process, establishing needs assessment, and creating balanced education while supporting the program goals with current, relevant clinical data.

Structure and Responsibilities of the CME Advisory Board
Membership
The membership of the Advisory Board shall consist of health and education professionals external to Vindico Medical Education. Those professionals shall have content expertise in subject matter areas relevant to Vindico Medical Education CME activities and/or expertise in the planning and implementation of CME activities. Term of membership is not limited.

The CME Committee shall appoint a Chairperson for the Board.

Meeting Schedule
The Advisory Board shall meet by conference call three times per year. The Director of Education and Compliance and the Chairperson of the Board shall determine the schedule for those calls.

The Advisory Board may also meet "in-person" with the CME Committee and the staff of OMEC at an annual retreat.

Responsibilities
1. Review and provide suggestions for selected policies and procedures and for the
CME mission statement.
2. Review and approve CME Certification Requests.
3. Provide content review for selected CME activities.
4. Provide regulatory review for selected CME activities.
5. Provide faculty and target audience perspectives for proposed CME activities.
6. Provide guidance for the evaluation of CME activities.
7. Provide advice regarding current and future trends in CME
